# Method:

01 - Pat the beef franks dry with paper towels. Insert a toothpick or mini skewer into each piece.

03 - In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and melted butter until combined.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
05 - Pour the batter into a tall glass or jar for easy dipping.

# Chef's Tips:

01 -
  • These mini versions give you that perfect crunch to juicy ratio in every single bite
  • They come together faster than you can drive to the fairground
  • Kids and adults alike cannot resist reaching for just one more
02 -
  • Make sure your oil stays around 350°F because if it gets too hot the outside will burn before the inside heats through
  • Letting the coated franks sit for too long before frying makes the batter get soggy and slide off
  • The batter consistency should be thick enough to coat but thin enough to drip off the franks easily
03 -
  • Room temperature ingredients create a smoother batter and better coating
  • If the batter is too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it reaches the right consistency
